Maple brushrest. Minimal finish work was done to retain as much of the raw natural look as possible. Each piece is completely different. They measure in the range of 2.5inx3inx1-1.5in.

The updated book cloth cover (brown) is more water media friendly (can be wiped clean). The new cover also features reinforced corners in the style is 19th century bookbinding.
The books may seem tight at first because I don't open them all the way. I believe the artist should be the first one to open their books. They will lay flat once being used.
Small gaps between signatures are natural with this weight.
