Large Brushrests and changes...
Good morning, Friends!
All large brushrests are sold out now. We do plan to make more in the future,
but for now I need to focus on sketchbooks.
I am able to get the same papers and colors for some covers (blue, black and brown). I'm not able to get the burgundy for my Fabriano books. I will substitute it with some earth tone or gray.
Also, I plan to use a new tape for the outside of the book spines. Cloth!
It's really beautiful and gives the book a vintage look.
The book corners will be covered with the same cloth tape for extra protection and a handsome look.
The large size books I'm working on right now (Arches, Saunders, Lanaquarelle, and Fabriano Artistico) will have these new features.
I would love to know what you think about the new changes, especially the new corner look, I really hope you will like it.

Fresh sketchbooks!
Good morning, Friends!
I am working on new sketchbooks this week.
All sizes of Arches, Fabriano Artistico, Saunders Waterford, and Lanaquarelle
will be showing up in the shop this week.
I have been trying to obtain supplies from alternative sources as my local art supply store is still closed. My county remains under total lockdown. I am trying to match the cover colors and paper weight, which is very hard online. I have to go with a different type of paper since no one carries the paper I used to get locally.
So far I had enough old cover paper for all the pocket size books. I will let you know if there will be any difference in the color for the rest of the books.

Change in sketchbook presentation
Good morning, Friends!
I've been thinking about this for a while and I hope you won't mind a small change.
The cost of materials went up.
The Postal Service increased their fees, again.
Many people are not aware that, besides the pen loops, there are other aspects of my sketchbooks that are truly free.
The handmade box.
It was a hard decision between increasing my prices or letting the box go.
I let the box go.
I think the time and cost that go into making those will even things out.
I'm not even sure if folks keep them or toss them.
I want to keep my prices the same.
I want to keep shipping free.
I apologize for the change.
The books will still be protected for shipping (with corner protectors).

New Etsy Off Site Adds
Good morning, Friends!!
I hope everyone is doing well.
Just a quick post to let you know about the new Etsy off site adds program. You might have heard about it already. There are a lot of Esty sellers expressing their views about it online.
Etsy forced sellers to participate in this without our consent. I have no choice of what is advertised, when, or where (they're doing it on various social media platforms and selected search engines). There is no opt out.
If you can help it, please don't click on "my" adds if you see any. If a click results in a sale within 30 days (that's a big window) I get charged for the ad (which I did not place or signed up for) on top of all the Etsy fees.
I wrote to them several times about this but I have not received a response yet.
I know you're free to do as you choose and I totally respect that. This plea is just a way to let you know how you can support Etsy sellers who feel burdened by this new rule.
Some might not have a problem with it and that's fine.
It is not my intention to offend anyone.

This post is just to let you know that the price of Arches watercolor paper went up this year, everywhere.
I have 2 Arches sketchbooks left but after those are gone the new Arches books will have a new price.
So far prices of all the other papers stayed the same.
🎉🎊We are planning our 1st event for this spring. 🎊🎉
We've been invited to set up a table at an open house with a business in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is still in the works so I don't have any specific information. If you live around that area it would be AMAZING to meet you.
